1. The following steps will demonstrate how to acquire a kW output on your market place radiators. This example will be using the preloaded Stelrad catalogue.

2. This example will be using the preloaded Stelrad catalogue. With most our radiators being Compact K2's set to a height of 600mm.

3. If your radiator is showing '? kW', this means that h2x needs some more information to either automatically size your radiator or calculate the output based on the model and size.

4. For h2x to automatically size the radiator based on your set type and height, you will need to place the radiators within a heat loss room, with a calculated heat loss requirement. If you aren't looking to do a heat loss design, or know the specific model you want to use, skip to step 7.

5. Navigating to the floor plan tab, and turning on the heat load tool will allow you to complete your heat loss design. A full walk through on heat loss design can be found here. https://www.h2xengineering.com/university#modules-0Domestic

6. Marketplace radiators placed in the heat loss rooms will automatically size based on the upper limit set as you place them. This example has sized the radiator length based on a height of 600mm. This is calculated by subtracting the room design temperature from the mean flow temperature (based on the flow and return temperatures set at the heat source), using this detla T design temperature to select an appropriate radiator size, after applying the detla T 50 correction factors.

7. If you are looking to size your heating system based on specific radiator models and sizes, the following step will demonstrate how to do this.

8. You need to click on the radiator your looking to size, click on the technical tab, and click the 'computed' button next to 'model'. This will change to 'overridden' and allow you to select the radiator size from a drop down menu. As with the generic exact size radiator, this will calculate the output, based on the radiator size, the mean flow temperature from the heat source and an ambient room temperature of 21 degrees.
