Version 1.59.0 – Revamped Project Setup Process, Loading Spinner & Castrads

We are excited to announce the release of h2x Version 1.59.0, featuring a range of new features, enhancements and maintenance to improve your overall experience with the design software.

New Features

Revamped Project Setup Process: Setting up new projects just got easier! You can now copy settings from an existing project, saving you valuable time and eliminating the need to copy an entire old project.

Loading Spinner: We’ve added a new h2x loading spinner when processes are underway and loading.

Castrads Radiators: We’re expanding your heating options by introducing Castrads cast iron radiators as a system option. Finally, you can now incorporate these radiators into your designs with ease.

Enhancements

– Added a toggle button to globally hide rooms, which also applies to PDF exports.

– Improved the behavior of room, door, and window drawing buttons. Now, these tools will revert to their initial state, allowing you to insert multiple elements in a row without needing to reselect the tool each time.

– Enhanced the visual representation of room heat loss and heat gain.

– Flow systems will now use their specific settings rather than defaulting to the heat load page settings.

– The toolbar now remains visible even when you select only heating and underfloor heating modes.

Maintenance

– Resolved an issue that was causing multiple duplicate or delete projects to appear on the home screen.

– Incorrect pressure results on AHU fan duty have been corrected.

– Fixed issues with static pressure adjustments related to height changes in hot water plants.

– Corrected the orientation display for ducts with different heights.

– Fixed the issue where imported radiators from magicplan were inactive.

Version 1.58.12

Enhancements

– Improved how the software represents room heat loss and heat gain.

Maintenance

– Fixed the issue where user pages couldn’t be viewed if the username contained special characters like “/”.

– Corrected the default setting for radiator pressure drop calculations.

– We’ve fixed issues with copying, pasting, and dragging rooms, making it easier to adjust layouts.

– Changed the heating return color to blue for better visibility.

Version 1.58.11

Maintenance

– Added a read replica to our database for improved performance and reliability.

– Resolved an issue that caused issues when performing fire calculations and heat load assessments.

– Improved the sign-up page behaviour by changing how new windows open.

– We removed the unnecessary validation on minimum pipe height.
