Cylinder Coil sizing

I am struggling to understand how the heating coil is sized. I assumed it was sized based on occupancy/ the pipe duty on the hot service, but I have 5 ensuites for 10-person occupancy max with hot water outlet of 40mm (which is about right) but I only have a heating coil size of 1.6kW on a 20mm pipe feeding it, which I know is not right. Also, there does not seem to be anywhere to put in recovery time/amend this. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your question! I know we answered this on the phone, but I have also posted the answer below in case you would like to refer back to this:

At the moment, h2x doesn't calculate the rating of the DHW cylinder coil.

We do hope to calculate this, and the size of the cylinder itself, in the near future... what we see most commonly is that people match the coil rating to the heat loss of the building (because the Heat Pump or other heat source is sized to meet that demand anyway).

Hope this helps!
